06/28/2010 :: I have barely settled into my new digs, sort of. I get keys to the new place and will get to move in by the end of the week which makes things feel like they are moving forward at least. The transition to SLC has been an easy one. It is beautiful here this time of year and the city has a laid back vibe to it. I have been hiking the canyons with my girl friend and enjoying the green while it is here. I posted pictures of the hike up part of Millcreek. No sign of berries yet, the bushes have barely started to flower...
I have been trying to keep up with my writing through all of this. It has been difficult to find the time. I have barely now started to get back into a rhythm of writing. I will have my next poetry chapbook done and posted to scribd soon and have finally started to edit the manuscript I have been working on. I had finished it and thrown it aside in disgust...
06/16/2010 :: Drove from Tucson, AZ to Salt Lake City, Utah and now 'officially' call SLC home. Once I have rested from the drive I will need to find a place and figure out the logistics of getting the rest of my stuff up here...
The drive was gorgeous.
